Happenings at Keeping Home "School"

Last week was our first week of school and we had a nice kick off. We made Indian Villages, read a lot of good books, and learned a lot! It was a fun week. I made a yummy homemade chicken pot pie for supper one evening. It was so good!!!

For our Tea Time I made Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins. YUMMY!

I am having a hard time blogging and reading blogs due to our busy school schedule. I thought it would be a little more slow paced. Well...school is but it does take a lot of my energy and my season right now in life is focusing on this. It may be slim posting here one week and a lot the next!

Hope you will still stop by for a visit!

Blessings!

  1. Hi my friend,

I love the Indian Villages that the kids made. So creative and I'll bet they learned researching them and making them too. I really think kids learn best this way.

As for the blogging, don't worry about it. You have you hands full with homeschooling, running your household and using your limited energy for those things that are most important. I understand as I have been in your shoes too in the past. :)

Be blessed and know that we will all still be here and will be looking forward to your posts when you are able to do them. :)

And love your afternoon tea. : )
Post when you can...life comes first.

  3. The Indian Village looks fun! I understand about lack of time. Schooling and keeping home takes a big chunk of the day. Add in planning and it's gone! I'll be happy when I see a post and when I don't I'll know why.
