A Cute Thank You, Tea Time, and Thursday Love

This week my youngest son performed in a Musical for one of our homeschool groups. I was over the reception that followed. WOW!!! What work that was. Hint...why I have been missing in action on here this week. I wanted to gift the ladies that put this musical on. I was on a budget but I was blessed to find autumn smell good candles at Kroger's this week for buy on get one free. I got those and then realized when I got home I didn't have anymore paper bags I usually have on hand. But I did have paper sacks. I just dolled them up and they turned out cute I thought.

Last Thursday's Tea Time was interesting. It was so sweet and good but the baby I watch woke up and in the middle of our time puked all over the table. It would not have been so bad if were not having white chocolate pudding pies. HAHA!!! The kids were a little sick to eat after this event. *Smiles*

Later that evening Hannah had to go to choir practice so we had just Kyle because Ethan was at basketball. We took a nice walk and as we were getting cleaned up for the night Kyle surprised my husband and I with a snack on the counter. It was so sweet. It was really good too!

These little treats below are what we had for our Tea Time. They were Phyllo shells with Sugar Free White Chocolate pudding and mini chocolate chips. The other ones I filled with homemade applesauce. They were both good and both 3 Smart Points each on Weight Watchers.

This past weekend I went to a one day Ladies Conference with some family and it was exactly what my soul needed. Oh...I could have lingered and listened to the ladies that spoke all day. The Lord used them. I was already feeling and studying a lot of what they discussed for 2 weeks before. Isn't that just like the Lord. They sealed it all for me.

I hope you have had a good week so far. Our week has been crazy, busy, and then the last few days I have had to be intentional at slowing it.

Blessings,
Chrissy

  3. Chrissy, I hope you don't get too busy as it can get very stressful but bringing up children is always a challenge as regards taking time to recharge.
