No Spend Month Plans

7 comments:

  1. The money my fiancĂ© gave me brought my “bare bones” expenses to only $380 a month. A man pays me to care for his disabled wife, plus I get child support. However, I still have to do the deliveries enough to “stay active”.

Once I had a coworker who said she had $1,000 that her husband didn’t know about. Another coworker gasped and said, “you can’t hide money from your husband!” She retorted that the money was stuck in the pages of the Bible, and if he’d just read the Bible, he’d find it. (TouchĂ©)

So I’ve been doing the same thing. Getting $100 bills here and there and sticking them in the pages of the Bible. Saving is the best when you are just getting started as a family of five and don’t know where you stand.

  2. I love the bible saving strategy, unfortunately here it would not work. But it makes a cute story. So happy to see your post.
